The well-known cross-country ski areas in Rein in Taufers ( Ahrn Valley), as well as in Rasen Antholz, Toblach, Sexten or Cortina will enthuse you, and you will enjoy the great variety of leisure time offers!

	Ice skating is popular, too - at the Speed Skating Rink in the Sports Center in Reischach, close to the Valley Station or at the skating rink in the city of Bruneck. Fun, entertainment, past time - a toboggan ride on one of the many sledding courses in the surrounding area has it all. Several ski huts invite you to rest up, and it often happens that one looses track of time while feasting on a hearty snack platter or typical South Tyrolean dish and listening to the music, then have to descend to the valley on the moon-lit slope. As of the end of November you can visit the ever popular Christmas market in Bruneck with traditional South Tyrolean handicrafts, fresh bakery products, candles, felt house shoes or a large selection of Christmas decorations. End your visit to the market with a glass of hot mulled wine.
